Education

Maya is a graduate of Buchanan High School where she served as an active member of the community. She was student body President, a Herd spirit team leader, and team captain in multiple sports. 

She continued her education at Michigan State University. She will graduate spring of 2023 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design with a minor in Leadership in Organizations. 

While her time at Michigan State, Maya joined the nationally recognized greek organization of Kappa Delta. She had the honor of being elected to serve as Kappa Delta's Vice President of Member Retention, better known as the Sisterhood Chair. This position allowed Maya to work on building a community based on friendship and genuine connections while coordinating events.
